Health and Safety

We have a zero tolerance for accidents and safety is paramount to our business. All our operatives and Managers are trained in health and safety management, site inductions are mandatory on all sites and safety issues are regularly reviewed. We employ an independent safety consultant to monitor our performance and carry out regular audits of all our sites.

The company's excellent health and safety performance was recognised in 2004 with a DTI sponsored award during the European Week of Safety for 'outstanding achievments in Health and Safety practice in 2003/4'.

Environment

The Isle of Man is a beautiful and largely unspoilt place to live and work and we care passionately about our environment and any impact that our activities may have on both the local flora and fauna and the environment in its wider context. We are, after all, only custodians of the environment for future generations and we take this responsibility seriously, having a direct vested interest being located in a relatively small community.

Our environmental policy actively encourages the reduction, reuse and the recycling of waste and avoidance of pollution. We are working towards accredtation under the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) to demonstrate our commitment to the this policy. A copy of our policy is available on request.

Customer Care

Care for the environment also extends to care for our customers and neighbours who may reside close to our operational activities. We are committed to the Considerate Constructor Scheme and are always mindful of any impact we may have on neighbours and act accordingly to reduce or eliminate any possible nuisance.
